High Intensity Discharge Lamp
A high intensity discharge lamp produces light by striking an electrical arc across tungsten electrodes. It produces brighter and more intense light than fluorescent and incandescent lamp. HID lamp can be used as discharge headlight, display light, and so on.
High intensity discharge light has many features, including
1. The optimal radiation spectrum can be achieved by selecting the appropriate light-emitting material.
2. High light efficiency: 25-30％ of input electric energy can be converted into light output.
3. Long life: 10,000 to 20,000 hours
